Welcome to Carpenter Avenue Elementary, an exciting place to learn and grow! This website is a wealth of information about our school community and was established to provide a link between the school and the Carpenter community. Carpenter Avenue Elementary was founded in 1924 and has grown into an outstanding community school ranked among the highest in the state. We are a high-performing school with a 2008 Academic Performance Index of 904, the highest API score in District 2. We have an energetic and enthusiastic staff that is well-focused on student achievement. Our students and staff are fortunate that Carpenter has incredibly strong parent and community involvement.
